Our verdict on Alpha Futures

Alpha Futures runs one-step futures evaluations from $79 a month on the Zero 25K plan, paying a 90% split from the first payout cycle rather than after a scaling period, and it also offers instant Direct Qualified accounts. It is a 2024 firm, so the record is short, and the Premium plan caps each payout.

Best for

  • βœ“Traders who want a 90% split from the first payout rather than after a scaling plan
  • βœ“Traders starting small who want a low monthly entry on a 25K evaluation

Look elsewhere if

  • βœ•Traders who want TradingView charting β€” platform access here is Tradovate, NinjaTrader and Rithmic
  • βœ•Traders on the Premium plan expecting uncapped withdrawals; each payout is capped

Watch out:The $79 entry is a monthly charge, so a long evaluation accumulates cost rather than settling it upfront, and the fee is not recovered if the attempt fails. Alpha Futures also launched in 2024, so its payout terms have a comparatively short history behind them.

Split, fees and how the monthly model adds up

The 90% split applies from day one on the Zero and Advanced plans, which is a real distinction from FTMO and FundedNext, where 90% is reached through scaling from an 80% base. Entry is $79 a month on Zero 25K, one of the lower starting points in this group alongside MyFundedFutures at roughly $77 and Topstep's $49 Combine. A recurring charge means the cost of an evaluation grows with the time you spend in it, so a slow, careful attempt is not a free one.

That structure sits between the one-time model at Lucid Trading and the pass-then-activate model at Apex, Take Profit Trader and Earn2Trade. None is inherently better value β€” the comparison depends on how long you take and whether you reach a payout at all. The Premium plan caps each individual payout, so a large approved profit may be released in instalments. Read the cap alongside the split, since a capped 90% can deliver less in a given month than an uncapped lower percentage.

Platform access and firm maturity

Platform coverage is narrower than most of this group: Tradovate, NinjaTrader and Rithmic, without the TradingView option that Topstep, Apex, Tradeify, Take Profit Trader and MyFundedFutures all include. If your charting, alerts and execution habits are built around TradingView, that is a workflow change rather than a minor detail. The instrument range still covers futures on indices, metals, energies and crypto, so ES, NQ, YM and GC are all in scope through the supported platforms.

The firm launched in 2024 and its tracked payout figure in this dataset is around $30.5 million β€” smaller than Tradeify, MyFundedFutures or FundedNext, though those numbers reflect aggregate distribution and firm size rather than any individual trader's likelihood of being paid. Direct Qualified instant accounts are also available for traders who want to bypass the evaluation, with the same caveat that applies everywhere in this category: removing the evaluation removes a gate, not the rules, the fee risk or the possibility of losing the account.

Pros

  • + 90% split from day one on Zero/Advanced plans
  • + Low $79/mo entry on Zero 25K
  • + Also offers instant Direct Qualified accounts

Cons

  • βˆ’ Newer firm with a shorter history (2024)
  • βˆ’ Premium plan caps each payout
