Our verdict on Earn2Trade

Earn2Trade has operated since 2017 with an education-first positioning and the Gauntlet Mini single-phase evaluation reaching 200K in funding on a clear weekly payout schedule. The trade-offs are commercial: an 80/20 split, a $150 entry, plus a per-payout cap and an activation fee on the first withdrawal.

Best for

  • βœ“Traders who want a longer-established firm with an education-led structure around the evaluation
  • βœ“Traders who want a predictable weekly payout schedule rather than plan-dependent timing

Look elsewhere if

  • βœ•Traders optimising for profit share β€” 80/20 is below most firms in this group
  • βœ•Traders who want their first withdrawal uncapped and free of an activation fee

Watch out:The first withdrawal carries both a per-payout cap and an activation fee, so the amount that actually reaches you in the first cycle is smaller than an 80% split on approved profit implies. The Gauntlet Mini remains a simulated evaluation with a non-refundable $150 fee.

Cost, split and payout mechanics

Entry is $150, level with Take Profit Trader and the highest in this group, and the split is 80/20 β€” below the 90% offered by Topstep, Tradeify, Lucid Trading and Alpha Futures. On top of that, a per-payout cap and an activation fee apply on the first withdrawal. Each of those is common enough individually across the industry; the combination is what makes the effective economics here less favourable than the headline funding number of 200K suggests. Model the first payout specifically, not the annualised case.

The weekly payout schedule is a genuine positive in the opposite direction. Roughly seven-day cycles with a clearly documented schedule remove the ambiguity that comes with plan-dependent cadences such as MyFundedFutures' or FundedNext's, where timing varies by model. Predictability has practical value: it lets you plan around known dates rather than around an approval process whose timing you cannot forecast. It is worth less than a higher split for a consistently profitable trader, and worth more for anyone still establishing whether they are one.

Track record and access

Operating since 2017, Earn2Trade is the longest-running futures firm here after Topstep (FTMO, 2015, is older but sits on the CFD side), with an education pedigree built into how the programme is framed. That history means more completed cycles of funding, rule enforcement and payouts than the 2024 and 2025 entrants can show. It is not a performance guarantee, and it says nothing about whether any individual passes the Gauntlet Mini, but it does mean the terms have been observed across a longer stretch of market conditions.

Funding reaches 200K via the Gauntlet Mini, above the 150K ceiling at Topstep, Tradeify, Lucid Trading, Alpha Futures, Take Profit Trader and MyFundedFutures, though below Apex's 300K. Platform access is limited to NinjaTrader, Tradovate and Rithmic β€” no TradingView, the same constraint Alpha Futures has. Instruments cover futures on indices, metals, energies and crypto, so an ES, NQ, YM and GC process fits, provided you are comfortable working within those three platforms.

Pros

  • + Established since 2017 with an education pedigree
  • + Funding up to 200K via Gauntlet Mini
  • + Clear weekly payout schedule

Cons

  • βˆ’ Only an 80/20 split
  • βˆ’ Per-payout cap and activation fee on first withdrawal
