Our verdict on Lucid Trading

Lucid Trading runs futures-only evaluations from $110 on a one-time fee basis, with a 90/10 split and daily payout processing. The pricing model is unusually clean β€” no activation or monthly charges β€” but the firm launched in 2025, which makes it the least-proven entry in this list.

Best for

  • βœ“Traders who want one-time evaluation pricing with no monthly or activation charges
  • βœ“Traders who prioritise daily payout access over a long firm track record

Look elsewhere if

  • βœ•Traders who need an established payout history before committing a fee
  • βœ•Traders aiming at the top funding tier, which is invite-only

Watch out:Launched in 2025, Lucid Trading has a very limited track record, and the evaluation is a simulated test with a non-refundable fee that most participants do not convert into a funded payout. Favourable payout terms are only as meaningful as the firm's ability to sustain them over time.

Fee model and payout mechanics

Evaluations start at $110 on a one-time fee with no activation or monthly charges, which is a genuinely simpler structure than the subscription models at Alpha Futures and MyFundedFutures or the post-pass activation fees at Apex, Take Profit Trader and Earn2Trade. One-time pricing makes total cost knowable in advance instead of accumulating monthly while you work through an evaluation. That transparency is worth something, but it does not change the base fact that the fee is non-refundable whether or not the attempt succeeds.

Payouts are processed daily with a 90/10 split, matching Take Profit Trader on cadence and beating its 80% base split. Fast payout processing is one of the more useful features in this model, because it shortens the period between generating simulated profit and holding actual cash, which is the point at which a firm's terms are tested in practice. The top funding tier is invite-only, so the advertised 150K maximum is not straightforwardly purchasable in the way Apex's 300K is.

How to weigh a firm launched in 2025

Lucid launched in 2025, making it the newest entry here β€” newer than Tradeify and Alpha Futures (2024), MyFundedFutures (2023) and FundedNext (2022), and far newer than Topstep (2012) or Earn2Trade (2017). The relevant risk is not that a new firm behaves badly, but that no one, including the firm, has observed how its terms hold up across a full range of market conditions and payout volumes. Generous splits and daily payouts are commitments that are easy to make early and harder to sustain.

A practical way to handle that uncertainty is to size your exposure to it. Treat the evaluation fee as money you are prepared to lose entirely, avoid running several accounts with one unproven firm at once, and withdraw approved profit promptly rather than accumulating a balance you would rather not have sitting there. Platform access via Tradovate, Rithmic, NinjaTrader, TradingView and Quantower means ES, NQ, GC and crypto futures are covered on tooling identical to more established competitors.

Pros

  • + One-time fees β€” no activation or monthly charges
  • + 90/10 split with daily payouts
  • + Fast payout processing

Cons

  • βˆ’ Very new firm (launched 2025), limited track record
  • βˆ’ Top tier is invite-only
